Ford Mustang 66

The Car – Nightmist Blue ’66 Ford Mustang Hardtop

Here’s the car: Pic1 Pic2

1966 Mustang Hardtop
289 V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor (Originally 2-barrel, but no skin off my nose because 4-barrel gets more horsepower and is more efficient.)
3 speed Automatic transmission
Factory A/C
Nightmist Blue with a white vinyl roof
Turquoise (Orig. Lt. Blue) and white deluxe pony interior
98000 original miles
Pony (Interior Décor/ Luxury) Interior

It needs some removal of surface rust, has possible deep rust under top so there might be some welding, will get an air filter/oil change, will get a new steering wheel, has a possible slow oil leak, will get disc brakes, will probably have all seats switched back to original Light Blue/White coloring (Someone put in turquoise/white seats), will have front seats changed, will get changed taillights that are 3 separate lights, will eventually have a Rally-Pac installed. (Will edit with any other updates later.)

Wow – that is one nice car! Darren is green with envy especially since he sold his Boss 302 Mustang and replaced it with a boring 4-door sedan. He needs a project like this. :-) If you ever get tired of this car, let me know! It would be worth the trip down to California to bring it back up to Calgary.
